Antique 1898 Victorian William J. Holland Natural History Rotogravure, Butterfly and Moth Caterpillars

Thirty-five beautiful, bright, and leggy butterfly caterpillars are featured on an 1898 rotogravure gleaned from an Victorian entomology reference.

The heavy paper is top-tipped in gold and has a protective covering tissue which includes an 'Explanation of Plate', giving the scientific names of the caterpillars.

A wonderful subject to frame or perhaps you'll keep this as a beautiful addition to your at-the-ready ephemera supply.

The heavy paper is blank on its reverse, measures 6.5" x 9" (17x22 cm), and is clean and smooth, without creases, marks, folds or tears. Perfect for your card and scrap-book page making, jewelry making, collage, decoupage.
