From an 1893 German volume on raising 'large poultry', an absolutely wonderful, bright, fun, chicken-ie lithograph featuring ... Chickens!!

Here at Le Petit Poulailler, we particularly love when we come across chicken-ie things and we are really loving this find, featuring wonderfully plump Orpington chickens in Amber and White.

Each lithograph is signed by Kurt Zander, the wonderful and prolific 19th century poultry illustrator. The heavy paper is blank on its reverse, measures 6.25" x 9.5" (16x24 cm) with each image measuring approximately 3.25" x 4.75" (8x12 cm). There are no tears, folds, creases, or marks.

Oh, I can certainly see this framed for your kitchen or used in your art ~ either would be wonderful! (I have 2 in my kitchen!)
