A little bit of info for you about Fifth Avenue Modes ~

The best part of this place was that you could order many of the fashions in the fabrics shown, to your specific measurements. They would cut the garment especially for you ... and you would then finish the sewing yourself at home.

It was haute couture at a fraction of the cost. My mother said she had THE best wardrobe around because of this store!
