Antique 1849 Victorian 'The Birthday', A Delightful Engraved Celebration
A beautiful engraving gleaned from P. Lightfoot's 1849 Fisher's Drawing Room Scrap Book.
Printed on heavy card stock and blank on its reverse, the captioning credits the beautiful engraving to 'Peter Jackson of London and Paris'.
The 160+ year old page shows even tanning and measures 8.25" x 10.75" (21x27 cm), with the actual engraving measures approximately 4" x 4" (10x10 cm). There are no tears, folds, creases, or marks.
A wonderful study to frame, fantastic to use in your art ~ card and page making, collage, mixed media.
