1925 Paris Fashion Pochoir Prints ~ Renaissance Gown Couture, Pl 1
An stunning French pochoir print from Paul Louis de Giafferri's 1925 magnificent folio work ~ 'History of Feminine Costume from 1037 - 1870'.
Hand-painted on card, the prints are simply scrumptious. This Pochoir print features 8 vignettes of 'Elegantes', or 'Evening Gowns', from the Renaissance era, 1461-1574.
The paper measures 10.75" x 14.625" (27x37 cm) and shows very gentle edge tanning. There are no tears, folds, creases, or tears.
The colors are bright and lush and the explanation key is at the page bottom in French text. A wonderful paper to frame. ... or will you use this in your art?
