Antique 1895 Victorian Rev FO Morris Natural History Hand Colored Bird Engraving Featuring Goshawk
A beautiful Victorian hand-colored engraving gleaned from Rev. Francis O. Morris's 1895 history of British birds, published at the direction of Queen Victoria.
The heavy paper is blank on its reverse, top-tipped in gold, showing little tanning. Measuring 6.75" x 10" (17x25 cm), there are no tears, folds, creases, or marks.
A gorgeous study to frame, fantastic to use in your art ~ card and scrap-book page making, collage, mixed media.
