Antique 1892 Victorian Lunar Map Moon Chart Engraving Featuring 12th Day
From an 1892 Victorian astronomy atlas, here is a stunning engraving showing our moon as we see it on the 12th day of its cycle, along with an accompanying plate showing the same view in linear form, with location identifications.
Both heavy papers are blank on their reverse and each measures 7" x 8.25" (18x21 cm). The tissue guard remains attached safely between the pictorial plate and the chart so virtually no tanning is seen. There are no tears, folds, marks, or creases.
