Vintage 1960 Olympic Trading Pin Brooch Soviet Union Women Winter Olympics
A very cool trading pin for the 1960 Soviet Union Women's Winter Olympic team, back when it was still the U.S.S.R or C.C.C.P.
The Games were held that year in Squaw Valley, California, USA and the little pin made its way back to a very young me in Illinois.
There are markings on the reverse but I am unable to read them. The pin back is nicely straight and fastens securely in a loop catch closure.
Gold tone metal with white and Communist Russian Red enamel, the pin measures - .75" x .5" (20x10 mm)
