From 1899 Victorian England and James Sowerby, a stunning hand-colored engraved botanical ~
Rumex Hydrolapathum. Great Water Dock.
The heavy paper is blank on its reverse, measures 6.25" x 9.5" (16x24 cm), and shows a gentle edge-tanning. The paper is smooth and clean, the corners are sharp, and there are no marks, folds, tears, or creases.
