Antique 1843 William Jardine Victorian Naturalists Library Hand Colored Engraving Featuring the American Tyrant Flycatcher
A sumptuous hand colored Victorian engraving from Sir William Jardine's 1843 natural history ornithology reference.
The heavy paper is blank on its reverse, top-tipped in gold and measures approximately 4" x 6.625" (10x17 cm). The paper shows little tanning to betray its 165+ years; the edges are smooth and clear and there are no tears, folds, creases, or marks. An absolutely beautiful subject to frame or use in your art.
You are purchasing an original 1843 paper and it does not have watermarks. I'll send this to you flat, protected, and by USPS 1st Class mail.
