Antique Paris Fashions Pochoir Print French 2nd Empire Corset Couture
Description
Antique 1925 Paris Fashions Pochoir Print Featuring Second Empire Corset Styles and Couture
A stunning French pochoir print from Paul Louis de Giafferri's 1925 magnificent folio work ~ 'History of Feminine Costume from 1037 - 1870'.
Hand painted on card and blank on its reverse, this print is simply scrumptious. Featured are nine hand-colored illustrations of 'Corsages' ~ Blouses or Corsets ~ from the French 2nd Empire era, 1852-1870.
The heavy paper is blank on its reverse and measures 10.75" x 14.625" (27x37 cm), with a very gentle edge tanning. There are no tears, folds, creases, or marks. The colors are bright and lovely and the illustration key is in French text at the page bottom.
A wonderful paper to frame. ... or will you use this in your art?
You are purchasing an original 1925 paper and it does not have watermarks. I'll send this to you flat, protected, and by USPS 1st Class mail.
