Antique 1895 Victorian Rev FO Morris Natural History Hand Colored Bird Engraving Featuring Orange Legged Hobby
A beautiful 1895 engraving gleaned from Morris's "History of British Birds", compiled and published at the direction of Queen Victoria and featuring "Orange Legged Hobby".
The heavy paper, top-tipped in gold, is blank on its reverse, shows gentle tanning, and measures 6.75" x 10" (17x25 cm). There are no tears, folds, creases, or marks.
A gorgeous study to frame, fantastic to use in your art ~ page and card making, collage, mixed media.
