Antique 1892 Victorian Astronomy Engraving, Lunar Chart Moon Map, Phase Day 6
From an 1892 astronomy atlas, here is a stunning Victorian engraving showing our moon as we see it on the 6th day of its cycle, along with an accompanying plate showing the same view in linear form, with location identifications.
The heavy papers are blank on their reverse and each measures 7" x 8.25" (18x21 cm). The protective tissue guard remains between the two engravings and virtually no tanning seen on either paper. There are no tears, folds, marks, or creases.
