Description
Hand-shaped organic nugget beads done in a beautiful aqua blue StrikingColor glass. I started with a clear core, wrapped a layer of StrikingColor, then impressed it with an all-over design of deep indentations. After encasing in a thick layer of clear glass and shaping with "facets", the result is a very rustic, almost tribal look with light and dark areas - including the translucent indentations that allow just a bit of light through. Accented with seven Czech glass ring spacers in transparent sapphire blue.
These beads were made on 3/32" mandrels, and are approx. 16mm X 14mm.
The chocolate kiss is shown for size comparison only - these beads are sweet enough!
