This is my quilled and framed custom wedding invitation keepsake, handcrafted in my New Hampshire studio. This personalized wedding invitation keepsake is the perfect gift.

You will be sending me the invitation with a color choice (or leave it up to me), which may be indicated by the invitation itself. The flowers will be quilled, placed around the invitation, matted and custom framed in a gold frame and shipped back to you to give to the Bride and Groom. A very special gift.

This invitation is my own invitation. All are different and special. I can incorporate any color or color combination. I usually can ship within 2 weeks of receiving the invitation. Please note that I have also included samples of invitations with silver and wood frames, which are $25 more. See the note below.

If you wish I can gift wrap and ship directly to the Bride & Groom for the wedding at no extra charge.

A little more information about my work -- I do everything from the beginning to the end of each and every piece...Just Me. I start with the design work, the cutting of the overlay with an exacto knife, the rolling of the quilling paper, by hand, the glueing, the cutting of the mats, the cutting of the glass, the putting-it-all-together in the frame under glass, the photographing and all the website work.........if you have any questions, please email me.

What is Quilling?
Quilling is a very old craft. Its name comes of the old practice of trimming the gold edges from books, and then winding the narrow strips of paper around feather quills, using the quill for the tool. Once rolled into circles and pinched into various shapes, the paper is used as texture and detail in pictures. My own technique uses the quill work as a background and details to cut-outs of wildlife. The quill work simulates the feathers in the duck and birds, the scales on the fish, the veins in the wildflowers, and the fur on the moose. Please see my other work for my original technique.

The wedding invitation is decorated with traditional quilling.

Since you will be sending me the invitation, you may also wish to include a check for $90 plus $7 shipping. Please add the $25 if you wish a satin silver or wood frame. The satin gold frame is included in the $90 price.
