I doubled hemmed a wide hem on this 100% cotton Flannel Soft Fabric to make an unusual Receiving Blanket.
These blankets are good for all the time use, good for Newborns as well as older toddlers.
39" x 41" That's a good 3 foot almost-square blanket.
I see no reason a blanket for a baby needs to be in pastels. If you're a Science Fiction or Robot fan, why not wrap your baby in a Robot themed blanket? I just had my first grandson, so that is what got me started on Blankies for Babies. If you have a theme you want to stock up on, let me know and I'll see if I can find a fabric to fit your likes.
