I use the camera when traveling to help me get acquainted with a place and to create a space that feels, for the moment, like home.
I chose postcards as a medium for sharing because I like the miniature (but palpable) versions of things.
My personal history:
I've put down roots in many places within the U.S., but Indiana and Washington are the most recent and perhaps the most enduring. I am eager to make just one place home, and right now that feels like Washington state, though the Internet itself has become its own kind of home.
