Thanks for stopping in!I learned to knit over a quarter of a century ago. Taught by my grandmother about the time I started school. I didn't take to it right away even though I liked the idea of making something, especially something that had a secondary purpose. I was never able to complete a project that met my high standards and soon stepped away from knitting. I didn't give up on it entirely, every few years I would try again with slightly less disappointing results. But it wasn't until the spring of 2005 that knitting and I finally clicked. My grandmother had lost her sight after a stroke and was unable to help me relearn the basics so I turned to the internet. I watched videos and learned how to decipher patterns and soon knitting became part of my life. So much so that in the fall of 2007 I started teaching knitting classes and in March 2008 co-founded our local knitting guild. Throughout all this I thought about selling my hand knits but it never seemed like a good time, until now.
My inventory consists of some basic items like dishcloths and scrubbies but I'll be periodically adding hats, hair accessories, scarves and other items. I'll be updating my shop inventory as fast as I can knit the items, so make sure to check back often. You never know what you might find.
*NOTE*
I use Canada Post for all my shipping. Prices quoted are for Lettermail. I am only able to do mail outs once a week (usually on Thursday) and it can take approximately 2 weeks for items to be delivered. If you need the item sooner please let me know and we can arrange for alternative shipping method.
