ACEO Original painting - 'Reading Tree.'
You will get one, limited edition hand painted miniature work of art. This is number four of four similar paintings that I designed for the first Twitter art exhibition in Moss, Norway. There's a video on my profile page to explain the process. There are also two sizes of unpainted downloads available to buy. I painted each of the four ACEO size trees differently, so this is OOAK - one of a kind. It is also the last one.
My illness means that I am rarely able to create using traditional means, which make any painted work by me especially rare.
I do not scan my paintings to sell as prints, (only for the listing) so you won’t see this image for sale anywhere else.
It was painted with iridescent water colour paints on cotton printing paper. Detailing is achieved with acrylic additives, 3D crafting paints and metallic gel pens. It is mounted on card and then the canvas signed information card,(this is a printed ACEO back that I designed myself and print onto printable canvas, adding more weight to the art card.) The painting is also varnished to protect the art from UV light etc.
It is sent to you protected by a cellophane cover in a card backed envelop.
I love creating ACEOs, they are an affordable way to collect original art and a fun hobby. I hope you like them too as I would be honoured to be added to your Art Card collection.
Have a look at my other ACEO listings and save on shipping.
What is an ACEO /ATC?
“Artist Trading Cards (or ATCs) are miniature works of art about the same size as modern baseball cards, or 2 ½ X 3 ½ inches (63 mm X 89 mm), small enough to fit inside standard card-collector pockets, sleeves or sheets. An offshoot of Artist Trading Cards are the "Art Cards, Editions and Originals" (ACEO). ACEOs originated when some artists began to create cards to sell, in addition to trading among themselves.“

I apologise for the poor quality of the photo of the back of the card. The real thing doesn't have a pink glow, it's black on white. This is the back of another art card - the image is to show you what to expect on the reverse of the ACEO.
