Shipping Information
I use the least expensive shipping possible. With doilies this usually means First Class Parcel; with all totes it is usually Parcel Post. If you need expedited shipping, please convo me and we can work that out. A USPS Priority Mail package costs about $11.00 to ship, in the US.
If the cost of shipping your item (including packing materials, packaging, and postage) is more than $1.00 less than you paid for shipping then I will refund that amount.
I do ship all over the world; however, please note that buyers are responsible for any and all customs and duty charges that may be incurred when purchasing an item from the United States to be delivered in another country. It is impossible for me to be responsible for the goverment policies for customs and duties in your country.
Refunds, Returns and Exchanges
I have a 30-day return policy for issues with workmanship or damage in transit. If you have a problem with my workmanship, or if it was damaged in transit, I will give you a full refund when you return the item in the condition in which you received it. If your product is damaged on arrival, I will send another. I just ask that you provide me with a detailed description of what was damaged and if possible, a photograph. However, please do keep in mind that these products are made by hand by one person, not by an automaton in a sweatshop somewhere in the world. Not every stitch will be perfectly straight. But every stitch is made with loving care.
If you get one of my products and decide you would like to have it in a different color, I will be happy to exchange it if you pay for the additional shipping costs and the cost of acquiring materials if I must make a special order for the color/fiber you want.
Extra Information
I came to creativity a bit late - only after health issues forced me to retire from the high tech industry just a few years ago. With my hands full of time and my ego bruised from not bringing home a paycheck, I cast about looking for something to at least keep me busy -- and still work within the confines of having to be seated most of the time. I had played with crochet when I was a kid but never made anything. But a nudge from a cousin convinced me to really teach myself the art...and soon it seemed that I was channeling my grandmother, who always had a crochet project near at hand. While I started with making market bags, my attention soon turned to fine threadwork and I've been turning out beautiful doilies ever since. Once I found my creative spot I also started sewing again. When I was younger I sewed a lot of my clothes and even ventured into making men's shirts. So I am also sewing bags with beautiful and fun fabrics and lots of intricate detail.
