Welcome to my shop! Twenty years of working in the children's book industry have left their mark on me. All of my favorite artists are children's book illustrators, I believe people are basically good, and I can't abide beige.

I live in the mountains in western North Carolina just a hop, skip and a jump down the road from Penland School of Crafts - one of the most amazing places in the world. I make cheerful toys and art for the young and the young at heart.

I use vintage and thrifted fabric almost exclusively in my work. I find it makes the finished toys more interesting - and it's nicer to our planet.
