Smiling Cow Studio is Adrienne Gradauer and Zacharie Quin, who make porcelain and stoneware in their studio in Maple Creek, Saskatchewan. Adrienne studied at the Alberta College of Art and Design in Calgary, Alberta, where she received a BFA in 1998. She has worked for several potters and has traveled to Japan to visit several pottery villages. Zach joined the pottery in 2003 when they were married. Their home in Maple Creek is near the Cypress Hills, which are filled with some of the world's best clay.
