Description
This highly collectible yarn holder was made by the Homer Manufacturing Company,New Jersey, U.S. Most likely dates from the 1950s or early 60s. This type of yarn holder holds bigger balls/cakes or skeins of yarn, such as dk, worsted, bulky. It has yarn holes to feed your yarn through in the top and on both sides. There is a depiction of kittens playing with plied yarn on the top. So cute! Approx 5 inches x 5.5 inches. Good for plying yarn for spinning.
Has original carrying strap. Overall good condition for it's age, no cracks, has some surface scratches/ wear spots, as is usual for age and wear on clear Lucite. Great for worsted weight knitters and crocheters! Highly collectible and very useful!
