Description
This beautiful container was probably used as a powder and puff box, part of a woman's vanity set. This beauty dates from the 1920's era. It has a very pretty carved celluloid shell like lid.
I like to use these decorative pieces to hold and store my knitting and crochet notions, such as stitch markers, row counters, blocking pins, and the like.
It is a truly stunning piece from a bye-gone era.
Approx. 12" in circumference at widest point.
Very rare, useful and collectible!
