Rare yellow beehive wool/yarn holder!
Great for sock knitters and crocheters.
Made in England during the 1940's - 50's.
Beautiful yellow hard to find beehive wool/yarn holder manufactured by N.B. Ware England.
Has imperial knitting gauge on bottom 14-8, which translates to 0-8, American. Has it's original plastic wrist attachment.
Base is 4 inches in diameter, approx. 3.3/4 inches high. This bee hive shaped wool holder unscrews to insert your yarn, and a hole at the top to pull your working yarn through.
These beehive wool/yarn holders are so functional allowing you to keep your yarn intact and your knitting mobile!
Perfect for sock, fingering, lightweight sport yarns of 50 gram balls.
Wonderful for color work also.
Holds a 50 gram ball of fingering weight yarn with no problem!
