Welcome to my shop!I hope that you find the vintage items in my shop fun, collectible, unique and highly usable as they were in the past.
In my shop you will find an array of vintage, collectible, and hard to find supplies for knitting, crochet, weaving, sewing, some spinning, tatting, and related objects.
Also I am adding my own handmade woven accessories, aprons, baby clothes, and up-cycled/redesigned OOAK clothing! Look under my hand made section! These items will have a new label: Purplefigtree Designs.
Note about the Beehive and the round Bakelite wool/yarn holders:
Beehive shaped knitting wool holders were made for Paton and Baldwins by NB Mouldings, a company established in 1932 in Holloway, London England. It was then known as Junction Moulds & Tools. They moved to Dunstable, England 1948. Their holders come in many colors, not just pastel shades.
Bakelite holders were also made by BEX and U-Plas. These companies also made knitting needle boxes.
My stock will change often, and I will soon be adding more hand made items as well.
