This is a 6" square Gloss Ceramic Tile with or without a cork backing (Please advise if you DO NOT want the cork backing). Our tiles are suitable as Trivets, Hot Plates, as Home Decoration placed on an easel, as wall tile but not as counter top). The image (from a photograph of a genuine Art Nouveau ceramic tile) is printed through a quality heat process that guarantees vivid colors and crisp images.
The original tile has some extent of crazing; crazing refers to the hairline cracks which occur in the glaze surface of vintage tiles but can also contribute to the charm of the tile.
All of our products are Made To Order; consequently Pictures 2,3 and 4 (the cork backing) show another of our trivets which is identical to the trivet you may purchase except for the listed image (Picture 1).
