1950s Autumn Gold Cup Saucer Set Century Service Corp 22k Gold Trim
High Tea is served on the shade-porch, ladies!
Made By Homer Laughlin Co. for Century Service Corp of Alliance Ohio starting in the late 1950s and into the early 1960s, this lovely sunny yellow Semi-Vitreous China pattern graced the tables of the more affluent Americans during the Ike and JFK era.
With is wide band of sunny yellow over a bright white under-body, this stylized wheat pattern with it's charming accents of real 24k gold, Autumn Gold broke the stuffy formal mold of conventional standard china patterns and began a new era of exciting new colors and designs.
Highly prized by collectors of fine vintage china, Autumn Gold is still a desirable sought-after pattern today. It is very rare indeed to find pieces in such excellent condition as these are.
