Description

Little Lady Moon

No-no-san,
Little Lady Moon,
How old are you?
I'm thirteen days,
I'm thirteen days and nine.
You're young then, Moon!
That is why you wear
That bright red sash
That only children wear
And have that fine white girdle
Wrapped about your hips.
Will you give your girdle to the horse?
Oh no, no, no!
Will you give your girdle to the cow?
Oh no, no no!

What a charming find. This original 7" x 9.75" lithograph print from 1946 is absolutely perfect; flat and smooth... without dings or bumps. The paper is a lovely crisp quality too; finished with a soft and subtle sheen with very little tanning.

This sweet original vintage children's lithograph is printed on the reverse as well, but the paper is nice and thick and doesn't show through. This little charmer would be just lovely matted and framed in your little one's nursery.

(We should all look this fabulous at 64 years old.)

'Little Lady Moon' will arrive safely at your place via those lovely folks at the USPS cradled in a rigid mailer to protect her along the bumpy journey from my place to yours.

Surrender Dorothy. Charming frame-worthy antique prints, maps, charts and illustrations for your every room in your home. Cool vintage finds for your workplace too.
Always delightfully different added each day.
