1892 Monk Bombyx Butterfly and Chrysalis Natural History Victorian Print

Description

'Monk Bombyx Chrysalis And Butterfly' is an original antique gem from 1892 fresh from the Surrender Dorothy Library of Natural Wonders.

It's from my own vast collection of Edwardian and Victorian prints and illustrations of Natural History subjects.

This original 119-year-old print measures 4.5" x 6" overall and it's in clean and fresh condition with sharp edges and corners. Do expect the usual tanning seen on papers and people this age.

Matted, framed and displayed as a grouping, these wonderful old Victorian engravings are simply spectacular. (Please note that the framed examples in the last photo are to show how this might look when it's framed. Your print will come unframed.)

Surrender Dorothy offers an over-the-top array of unusual frame-worthy vintage and antique prints, maps, charts and illustrations of ever description to adorn every room in your happy home.Terrific vintage finds for your workplace too.

Our art inventory moves very quickly and fresh selections are added each day, Please be sure to bookmark us and check back so you don't miss a thing.

I'll send this lovely jewel to you First Class Mail by way of those nice folks at the USPS packed flat and protected in a rigid mailer.

"I dreamed I was a butterfly, flitting around in the sky; then I awoke. Now I wonder: Am I a man who dreamt of being a butterfly, or am I a butterfly dreaming that I am a man?"
