I was ‘stone browsing’ at a local show one day and became fascinated with the patterning of this stone. It was both intriguing and mysterious with its sweeping varying shades of caramel and chestnut brown with hint of a semi-opaque green, like that of amazonite or aventurine. When I inquired about the type of stone it was, I was told it was a type of marble.

I decided to wrap this oval-shaped gem in red copper wire. The red copper seems to suit its personality and lend an almost vintage look. The over-all pendant including the bail measures 2 5/8 inches long and 1 ¼ inches wide. The 18 inch curb chain comes with the pendant making it ready to wear as soon as you receive it. The bail size is such that it will transfer easily onto necklace chain you currently have or even a ribbon or cord.
