I sew, collect, craft, quilt, and embroider! I am the only daughter of an only daughter of an only daughter ~ going back seven generations ~ and every one of them was a craftswoman; every one, a collector.

As an antiquer -and- a quilter -and- a paper-smith, my interests are wonderfully diverse ... as you will soon discover!

When the fabric bug bites me, I create beautiful miniature and sampler quilts, classic handkerchiefs, purses, totes, sachets, and bags in beautiful reproduction and designer fabrics ~ you will find these in my shop as well ~ it is where I pursue that ever elusive Perfect Seam!

And for those times when I am not out estate sale hunting, sewing, or quilting, I adore playing and creating with my fantastic collection of antique and vintage papers, prints, and designs.

I draw my creative inspiration from a tremendous collection of original Victorian, Edwardian, and Regency engravings, prints, and chromolithographs as well as from a glorious *stack* of quilts dating to the turn of the last century left to me by my mother and grandmother.
