Hummingbird All Fluffed Out 8x10
Description
Hummingbirds typically poof out their feathers to make themselves look larger. Of course larger is relative to other hummingbirds as they are only about four inches long. This hummingbird shows us a bare patch on her front. This is called a brood patch and functions as a warming element for the bird's eggs and chicks. The depth of field in this shot is very small. Each individual feather on the bird's stomach is in focus, but the head and other feathers are slightly out of focus. It's a photo that makes a definite visual impact.
This listing is for an 8x10 print with FREE shipping. The watermark with my name on it that appears on the image will not be on your printed photo. My photos are professionally printed and are available in a variety of sizes.
