Description

An exceptionally beautiful malachite cabochon is the focal point of this one of a kind beaded necklace. The cabochon is set in a bezel hand-beaded in a blend of deep greens that complement the stone's natural hues. A combination of shiny and matte beads creates a gorgeous, subtle play of color. The beaded fringe incorporates small malachite beads; that same motif is echoed in the embellishment on the necklace strap. The strap itself is beadwoven of mixed greens with sparks of gold.

The necklace is finished with a gold-plated hook and eye clasp (a lobster clasp can be substituted, if desired). Gold -filled or vermeil clasp is available for a small additional charge.

Nearly 6000 beads went into creating this necklace, woven together one by one with needle and sturdy nylon beading thread - a labor of love that consumed many hours.

Necklace length: 25.75 inches (65.4 cm), exclusive of pendant. Pendant length: 3.25 inches (8.25 cm), including fringe.
