Description

A of black and white agate coin is set in a beadwoven bezel for an unusual and striking pendant. I chose beads in shades of grey - plus black and frosted crystal - to create the ruffled setting for this piece. It was created bead by bead in peyote stitch using a needle and strong nylon beading thread.

To showcase the full beauty of the dyed agate stone, I beaded around the edges only, leaving the back exposed (see picture) as well as the front. The beadwork holds the stone securely in place without hiding any more of it than absolutely necessary.

Shipped with a black leather cord necklace, ready to wear. The beadwoven hanging loop allows you to substitute your own chain, ribbon or cord to change the look, as the fancy takes you. Length of pendant: 2.25 inches? (5.7 cm) Length of leather cord: 18 inches? (45.7 cm).
