Pretty yellow rounds of aragonite, framed by leafy, antiqued-copper coloured bead caps, dangle from elegantly arched ear-wires.

Aragonite is a semiprecious stone that comes in a variety of colours, including blue, green, white, and red. It is named after Aragon, a city in Spain near which it is often found, though it occurs in many locations all over the world. These particular aragonite beads are a delicate, opaque, sunny yellow with faint streaks, and come from Argentina.

The 'Yellow Buds' earrings measure 50mm from top to bottom. The dainty little bud dangles are 19mm long, including the wire-wrapping, and 10mm wide. The kidney-shaped ear wires are without nickel, so most sensitive ears should be fine wearing these earrings.
