Native Style Hand Beaded Creamy Tan Barrette
This Native American inspired barrette is hand beaded with bright and vivid colors. With a fun pattern, they maintain a respect for the American Indian heritage. This beautiful piece of artful bead work will make a wonderful accessory for holding a medium amount of hair from the front of your face.
I used size 11o seed beads for this barrette. The colors are black, white, red, and yellow against a creamy tan background for a beautiful contrast.
Metal quick release clip is stitched, not glued, to the backing of the barrette. The loomed bead work is stitched to a piece 'pleather' with a fabric stiffener. The stiffener provides a firm stiffness to the barrettes while being very easy to stitch to. A beaded decorative edging is stitched to hold everything in place.
Over 500 beads are worked together on a bead loom. Just a little over two hours later, these gorgeous treasures are ready for you to wear or give a as gift.
These unique barrettes measure 5/8" X 4 1/4" (8.255 cm).
**While I do try to have all items 'ready to ship', there is always the possibility that these may not be in stock at time of order. So please allow 7-10 days for shipping, though it is usually much quicker.
