I used size 11o seed beads for this barrette. Acute pink and purple butterfly with 2 yellow flowers are set against a blue sky shimmer background for a beautiful contrast.

Metal quick release clip is stitched, not glued, to the backing of the barrette. The loomed bead work is stitched to a piece of fabric stiffener, then to a piece of pleather. The stiffener maintains a firm stiffness to the barrettes while being very easy to stitch to.


Over 500 beads are worked together on a bead loom. Just a little over two hours later, these gorgeous treasures are ready for you to wear or give a as gift.

These unique barrettes measure 1" X 3.5".
