Description

Today I have a Classic, Gunne Sax Ren Dress. There are no signs that it has everbeen worn with the interior seams unfettered and no signs of alterations.
This is the typical ren with the main fabric being an ecru broadcloth. All of the lace accents are macrame and there is a tie bodice present.
The bodice is windowed by a light tan corduroy that is quilted and extends into the shirting as a wide apron. This corduroy feature can also be found on the long sleeves adorned with the macrame lace.
The empire waist is emphasized by a wide ribbon of floral embroidery with just enough of an accent to set this gown into a 'piece apart.
The long skirting is gathered and emerges into the familiar, lace accented ruffle. sashes are present to tie in the back!
I cannot emphasize the beauty of this early 70s piece. The pictures will have to do the explaining.
