We are Lola & Dennis, the mad scientists behind the scenes of Artisoap Etc, LLC. And it's true - we are mad about soap! Well, one of us is, anyway. The other one just likes to play in the bubbles....Anyway... where was I?

Aaaaah yes. We're here to entice you with soap that's almost as beautiful and fun as you are! Experimenting with new colors, fragrances and ingredients really does it for us and yes, we definitely do the Happy Dance when something comes out really great!

At any time, day or night, we can be found in the laBORatory (where ELSE would a coupla mad scientists hang out?!), testing out something we've discussed, or even dreamt about. Yes. Seriously. I toldja we were mad!

If you don't see something you can't possibly live without, we encourage you to seek professional help (just kidding), then come back soon, as we are always cooking up new stuff. New fragrances. New designs. New products.

Everything we make is built from the bottom up - with good ol' H2O, oils, and fun, and sometimes with a bit of magic sprinkled about.

Our bar soap is all cold process soap made almost the way your great great grama used to make it. We admit, we are NOT out back, standing over a huge cauldron of lard and rain-made lye we've collected, for hours and hours. We use veggie oils, yes. Lye, yes (you can’t make soap without lye, sweetie!). And hours of fun! We love vibrant colors and bold fragrances, so you're going to see a whole lot of both here at Artisoap!

Ok, ok. Correction. You CAN make soap without lye - it is called "melt & pour". Although we have seen some pretty amazing stuff made by utilizing M&P, we seriously have our hands full with what we consider to be "our thang". So we'll leave the artsy schmartsy M&P stuff to those who specialize in it. Can we get back to what I was saying now? :)

INFO!! ♥ EVERY batch of EVERYTHING is tested before it makes it to the packaging shelf. EVERYTHING! We test for Ph. We test for anything undesirable. If we won't slather it on ourselves, we won't sell it to you!

We don't use ingredients with formaldehydes or carcinogens or any other icky stuff, but we sure do experiment with heaps of interesting things and love adding them to our bubbly brews. All of our creations are vegan-friendly, but if we leave you with any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us. We are here for you long after "the sale" and we want to hear what cha think.

Please know that our fragrances are potent and delicious! We love concocting new and unique fragrances, so don’t be surprised if some of our descriptions sound a bit left of center. We will describe each item to the best of our creative abilities, although you may not always be able to detect each individual note. We consider this our secret weapon (insert silly giggle and rolling eyes here).

But seriously, we like things a little different and oftentimes find ourselves pushing the envelope while on an endless journey of new and exciting compositions. To describe why we do what we do in one thought, we can honestly say that we love what we do. Our goal is that YOU love what we do, too!
