Shop By Location!
Zibbet’s newest feature is the ability to ‘Shop By Location’!
This is the first of many features that will enhance the buying experience on Zibbet.com. Our aim is to help buyers find what they’re looking for and have fun doing it!
This feature will be extremely popular for buyers. It gives them the ability to search for shops in a particular Location, and they also have the option of sorting their search results by ‘Sellers Closest To Me’.
The first way to ‘Shop By Location’ is sorting your search results by ‘Sellers Closest To Me’. Notice the new ‘My Location’ box on the right hand side of the ‘Search Results’ page (see below).
Click images to see in better quality.
Click on the link, ‘Change location’ and you will be taken to a page that looks like this:
Fill in the details, and then click ‘Save’. Once you have clicked ‘Save’, it will take you back to your Search Results. You will now have the option to ‘Sort’ by ‘Sellers Closest To Me’ (see below).
The second way to ‘Shop By Location’ is by visiting the following link: http://www.zibbet.com/location. This page can also be accessed from the ‘Buy’ page, which is where buyers will access it from.
Once on the Location page, simply enter your place of interest and click ‘Search’. It will then produce the shops that are in your specified location. If you would like to try it out, start by seeing what other sellers are in your area. We suggest you search by Country to start with. As Zibbet gets bigger, the range of locations will get bigger as well.

By the way, we’re planning to launch the AFFILIATE PROGRAM in a couple of weeks. It’s going to be HUGE and a real catalyst for Zibbet’s success!

It’s a great feature, but people should know one thing: If you list your address with any abbreviations, the search mechanism won’t understand it. So if you live (let’s say) in New York, spell it out rather than listing your home as “NY.”
You can see my own listing above, where I’ve typed “LA” for “Louisiana. A search overlooked me until I spelled out the word. Then…perfect!
hey jonathan. I’ve seen something not that silly on http://caribeworld.net …
there you can map your activities/groups/etc. which should avoid the problem of NY, NewYork, New York, Manhattan etc. because then, you’ve just the map and chose your location by geo-referenced points which kills any confusion (even for a stupid machine like the computer…). Please think about it…
Have a great time
Chris, CDRart
We will improve this feature over time. Thanks for your suggestion!
