New Feature: ‘Sales Mode’
Everyone loves to go shopping when the SALES are on! Why? Because we love a BARGAIN! And it doesn’t matter how much we spend, because we didn’t pay full price…we got it ON SALE!
We’re very excited about our latest feature, exclusive to our Premium Sellers (You can upgrade at any time!). You can now reduce all the items in your shop by a given %. You also have the option of offering ‘free shipping’.
Using the ’sales’ feature is a great way to encourage more people to check out your shop and BUY!
HOW IT ALL WORKS
You’ll find the new ‘Sales Mode’ link under the ‘Promote’ section once logged into My Zibbet.
SETTING UP ‘SALES MODE’
When you get to the ‘Sales Mode’ page, you will need to turn sales mode ‘ON’. As you can see by the screenshot below, you can reduce the price of all your active items by a given %. You can include ‘Free Shipping’ as part of your sale (optional). And, you can include information about your sale in your welcome message at the top of your shop. The message will be displayed in ‘bold’ type and you can customize it to say whatever you wish.
When you want to end your sale, simply return to this page and click the button that says ‘Turn Off’. Everything in your shop will be returned to normal.

DISPLAY FEATURES
Through your customizable ‘welcome message’ and the thumbnail display changes to reflect your given % off each item, customers will easily be able to see that you’re having a sale on in your shop (see below).

Sale details are clearly marked on the ‘item details’ pages (Free Shipping and ‘Buy It Now’ box)…

Your items will STAND OUT in the search results as buyers will be able to see that your item is on sale (see below).

You’ll soon be able to create your own fully customizable coupon codes and gift certificates for your buyers. You’ll be able to generate as many different codes as you want and specify either a ‘value’ or ‘percentage’ discount for each. You can define a starting and an ending date for special promotions, number of times the code can be used, as well as a minimum order value for a code to be applicable. We aim to have this completed sometime in the next 1-2 weeks. Stay tuned…

This is excellent–thank you! I wanted to ask about a couple quirks on facebook. When I post my zibbet link on my fan page, I can’t get very many thumbnails, especially my product photos. Also, I noticed that I can’t add you as one of my favorite pages for all of my fans to see. I have a lot of Aussie and New Zealand Mums coming my way these next weeks, and I want them to know about Zibbet. Thanks!
WOW - this is the best feature.
I have spent countless hours editing every item in my shops during a sale and have always wished for an easier way. I have never liked the thought of having to refund a discount through paypal and so stubbornly edit each item during the sales that I hold. It is also very important to me that any item on sale be obviously on sale so that custumers don’t have to go into my shop to know that I’m having a sale.

LOVE the sale feature! Like aMelancholyDwelling above, I too did the per-listing editing on another of my sites, and with over 100 items, it was just too time consuming to be worth it. With this feature, I will be able to have sales more frequently! I love this setup!
Now I just need to get my listings completed - just set up my shop, and only have a few switched over here so far!

I’m a new seller on Zibbet. So many features offered with the Premium account are such great times savers. I just read about the sales mode and look forward to using it as my other on-line stores are either too time consuming or don’t offer this kind of feature. Very cool!
