NEW Shopping Cart!
The Shopping Cart is now READY and will be activated in our scheduled maintenance time on Tuesday night (16th February)!
Buyers will now have a proper shopping experience on Zibbet and will be able to add multiple items from multiple sellers to their ’shopping cart’.
Once a buyer is ready to checkout, they will be directed to pay each seller separately (if purchasing from more than 1 seller). Once they have paid one seller, they will be taken back to the payment page to pay for their next order, and so on, until they’ve paid each seller.
We’ve also fixed a number of issues/bugs that some people were having, such as multiple item shipping rates not adding up properly, ‘payment pending’ notices causing people not to be able to mark items as shipped, multiple sales notification emails, plus a few other little things here and there. While we’ve done our best to test the cart extensively before launch, it’s always possible that we’ve missed something due to the many different browsers and versions of browsers that we need to test for. If you see something not working as you think it should, let us know immediately and we’ll do our best to fix it ASAP.
You’ll notice a couple of small changes such as the shopping cart icon, located to the right of the main navigation bar. You can click this icon to access your cart and its contents at any time. You’ll also notice that the ‘Buy it Now’ button has been replaced with an ‘Add to Cart’ button.
There’s a number of improvements still on our list of things to do specifically related to the checkout process. These include:
- A Guest Checkout option
- Additional payment options
- Clearer login/registration page
- Ability to cancel a sale and relist in one click from ’sold items’ page (related to non-paying buyers)
- Option to mark payment as sent/received
These improvements will be added to the site over time (most of them sooner rather than later) and will be implemented based on the wants and needs of the community. We’ve got a whole list of features and improvements that you have voiced that we can’t wait to get to. Zibbet is going to keep getting better and better and we will never stop improving and adding value the site.

@BlackHeartJewellery, We recently changed the avatars to pull from gravatar where possible, instead of from zibbet as it was before. It will be changed back in the near future, but for now, you can simply change your gravatar to have it reflected here.
