Design and Style with Papernstitch: Glamour
Last week we channeled our outdoorsy side with a woodland inspired room. And this week, we will delve into the complete opposite, searching for all things glamorous.
Of course, a quick and easy way to go from plain jane to glamĀ girl is to add some sparkle. But that doesn’t mean you have to drip yourself in diamonds. Simply introducing some sequins or glitter to your wardrobe will really help. No need to go overboard though…keeping the sparkle in one, concentrated area is usually best. For example, a sequin skirt in a neutral color paired with a simple top will make you feel and look effortlessly glamorous. Or choose a sparkling accessory to go with that little black dress for a more understated look.

And keep thinking sparkles when recreating a glam look in your own home, but choose bold statement pieces that reflect light such as mirrors and modern chandeliers.
