1. Tell us a bit about yourself?

   My name is Christian, I’m 31 years old, and I was lucky enough to grow up in New Orleans. I have a large family, and an even larger group of goofball friends. My life pretty much revolves around sewing, rock and roll, and food. I have an intense fear of cubicles, middle management, and calling customer service lines. Oh, and I also make purses.

2. Apart from being ‘creative’ what do you do?

   I don’t get much free time these days, but when it happens, I try to spend it with my friends. We go to concerts, play Cranium, and watch movies. If it’s someone’s birthday, we put on bald caps or dress up like zombies and drink beer. Sometimes, we get in our cars and drive away from hurricanes.

3. What inspires you to do the kind of work you do?

   Well, I love sewing, and there is no describing the sense of self satisfaction that comes from producing something that people will spend their hard earned money on. Honestly though, what really keeps me going is a strong desire to avoid working for the man at all costs.

4. Do you look up to anyone? Who? Why?

   I definitely look up my aunt, Sharon Zambito. She started her own cake decorating company from scratch, and it’s her success that made me feel like I had a shot at doing this thing for real.

5. What other passions do you have in your life?

   Horror movies, improvisational comedy, and pizza. I also have strong opinions about politics, religion, and all of those conversation topics that are inappropriate for a dinner party. I guess I’m pretty passionate about everything really.

6. What do you like most about Zibbet?

   Oh, the customer service is, by far, the best thing about Zibbet. I’m so used to form letters and brush offs, that I’m actually shocked when I get a real answer from the Zibbet staff. I figure after a few years on Zibbet, I might be able to call a customer service line without my heart rate doubling as I dial the numbers.

7. What ‘new’ things would you like to see added to Zibbet?

   More picture slots for sure. I’d also like to be able to offer my customers some payment options other than Paypal. Oh, and more shipping options! It would be awesome if we could offer customers a choice between cheap or fast shipping.

8. How do you promote your work?

   Mostly, I just talk about it non-stop. I give business cards to everyone I meet, and my friends are great about talking me up. I’ve tried doing some blog ads, but it wasn’t nearly as effective as my family telling people about my shop.

9. How would you recommend other Zibbeters make the most of Zibbet.com?

   Get a premium account while they are still cheap. There are so many awesome features available for premium accounts. Stuff that other venues don’t even have at all! Also, I think it’s good for your image. It’s hard for me to believe that a seller is serious about their business if they won’t shell out 9 bucks a month for a premium account.

10. In the future I’d like to be…

    …Drinking pina coladas and eating softshell crab on the back porch of my beach house.
