Fantastic Five: Nature-Inspired
Hi everyone! And welcome to a brand new column here on Zibbet called Fantastic Five. You may remember me from my previous Design and Style posts here on Zibbet; and now every week I’ll be featuring my top five Zibbet picks within a particular theme.
And for today’s Fantastic Five, we’ll be looking at shops and products that are inspired by nature, like this photograph (left) entitled Walk on Water by Abstract by Mina.
So let’s get started with my top five Zibbet picks for this week…
1. This vintage cocktail hat from Callooh Callay is the perfect accessory for an extravagant garden party. The green velvet and satin overlap each other, forming unique leaf shapes. And the veil adds a little extra drama.
2. Bridge the gap from the outdoors into your handmade home with this adorable door wreath entitled Dripping in Blooms by Itz Fitz. The blue and purple, felt blooms will add a pop of color to any drab front door.
3. And once you get back inside, you might want to think about adding a colorful print to those bare walls. Like this Honesty Pods fine art photograph by Lesley McLelland. The abstract image created in the way this piece is cropped makes it a good fit for almsot any home: from modern to traditional.
4. Or perhaps you prefer illustration over photography when choosing artwork. And in that case, you’ll want to check out this Dandelion Print by IAlbert (Indira Albert). The original design was actually created using one of Indira’s own photographs.
5. And my final pick for Fantastic Five this week is this pair of Sunny Day Pants by Gift by Wish. I love the floral pattern and contrast stitching. These would be perfect for lounging around the house. Or pair with a tight tank (like the image) and head out for some lunchtime errands. These look so comfortable.

My 20 year old daughter would love those pants. The same daughter who I gave a whole box of hats like the green one to, when she was a little tot, so she could play dress up. Oh where oh where are those hats now?

Ah, that beautiful green hat reminds me of the ones my mother and grandmother used to wear along with white gloves to church every Sunday. Hats like that also make me think of Lucille Ball in those classic “I Love Lucy” shows!
