Meet Nikki Hart who has a shop on Zibbet called Sweetharts. Nikki is a busy stay-at-home mother who enjoys working from home and spending time with her four children.

Nikki sells many different products: crocheted hats, hair clips and bows, bottle cap jewelry, tutus, cupcake toppers, party favors, clothing and images. She especially loves making custom designed orders. Just let her know what you need and she can whip it up for you.

Nikki promotes her shop on Facebook. She also writes a blog where she promotes contests and shares information about her upcoming products.

Nikki’s Sweetharts shop is doing well on Zibbet, with close to 70 sales.

1. Tell us a bit about yourself?

   My name is Nikki Hart and I am stay at home mom of 4 kids, ranging from age 1-13. I live in Brookings, Oregon and have been blessed with a beautiful family, a wonderful husband and I get to do what I love, be creative, craft and make beautiful things for my family and now others. This is a very exciting time in my life as my business grows and I can show my kids that you find what you love and you can be successful.

2. Apart from being ‘creative’ what do you do?

   I am a full time mommy and very active in everything my kids do, school, sports, you name it I am involved in it. I love photography and that is my next venture in life as I tackle as I grow my business.

3. What inspires you to do the kind of work you do?

   My love of being creative and my family is what inspires me to do what I do. I know how fortunate I am to be able to be a stay a home mom and work from home, doing what I love. I have two little girls, 1 and 3 and they are my little Sweetharts that their love for all things girlie, inspire me on a daily basis. My husband and teenagers are also always there supporting and encouraging me in everything I do.

4. Do you look up to anyone? Who? Why?

   I look up to my husband for being such a supporter and letting me do what I do, he lets my creative roll  And of course my kids, they are my inspiration and drive to create and to strive to be successful. Everything I do is for my family and to make them proud of their mom.

5. What other passions do you have in your life?

   I love photography! To capture a moment is one of the most breath taking pieces of art anyone can make. It’s a memory that will be always be there and a moment that will never happen again, it’s a beautiful thing.

6. What do you like most about Zibbet?

   I love how user friendly Zibbet is. I love the whole process of listing and the ease of having a shop. I LOVE how I feel like I apart of something that is growing and will continue to grow. To say that I was with Zibbet at the beginning of my career and its, I am a part of something special.

7. What ‘new’ things would you like to see added to Zibbet?

   I love everything about Zibbet, I just want to see Zibbet grow as it is and continue to help the creative moms and others out there like me start out their dreams and make it into a business.

8. How do you promote your work?

   I have a blog that I am building each day and I promote a lot of my business on facebook. I also do craft shows and just try and put myself out there. The worst thing you can do is not try, if I can get my name out there somehow, it is worth a try.

9. How would you recommend other Zibbeters make the most of Zibbet.com?

   Use all the features and ease of setting up your shop, play around and promote. Get the word out that Zibbet is here and growing. Email your friends, family and others; get the name Zibbet out there. As Zibbet grows, your business will go, promote in any way you can. Make what you love and it will show through in your shop and eventually your sales.

10. In the future I’d like to be…

    Successful, I want to see my business grow; I want to be a name that is familiar and available to the mass. I strive to make beautiful things for the everyday person to be able to afford. There is a little bit of sweetness in everyone and I want Sweetharts to be a part of everyone’s life.  I love what I do and if I can make a successful business out of it, what could be better?
