Creating Your MOO Business Cards

As you probably know, Zibbet and MOO have joined forces to offer Zibbet sellers 50 free business cards. Last week I talked about the importance of business cards and provided some suggestions for creative ways to use those cards to promote your business. Today I’ll take a quick look at the process of creating your MOO business cards with some tips and reminders that will make the process a breeze…

First, you need to do some prep work. Start by selecting the photo(s) that you want to appear on the image side of your cards. MOO recommends that your images be 1039 x 697 pixels (300dpi). Images should be .jpg for photographs or vector-based PDF for graphic design and line art. Please note that you don’t have to provide images. MOO offers several templates that you can adapt to meet your needs.

Next, decide on the text that you want to appear on the front of your cards. Be sure to include your Zibbet shop URL so that people can easily find your shop. The format for shop URLs is www.zibbet.com/Username. Replace Username with the Username for your shop.

Finally, familiarize yourself with what MOO is all about and this special offer for Zibbet sellers.

Once you have your photos selected and sized properly, your text decided on and you’ve learned a bit about MOO, it’s time to set up your cards by clicking the orange start button on the Zibbet partnership page:

If you’re using your own images, click the Upload your images button:

Click the Upload your files button or import your images from one of the sources listed.

After your images have been uploaded, you’ll be able to see how each will fit on your cards. You can delete any that you don’t want to use. Click Next Step to enter the text that will appear on the front of your cards. You can select from several fonts and colors. When you’re done, click Next Step to preview your design. Click the ‘flip cards over’ icon to see the opposite side of your cards. When you’re happy with your design(s), click all of the check boxes at the top of the Preview window and then click the orange Next Step button to continue.

Next, select the type of paper you want to have your cards printed on and then click the Add To Cart button to continue.

Click the Proceed to checkout button

Select your estimated delivery date and then click the Continue button.

Enter your mailing address and then click the Continue button.

Select your payment method and enter the requested information if using a credit card. Click the Continue button. I selected PayPal and was taken to a PayPal login screen. After confirming my PayPal information I was returned to MOO where I was able to review my order.

Click the Place order button to complete your order. You’ll see an order confirmation page with your estimated delivery date and links for viewing your order and downloading a receipt for your records.

Please note that at some point in the process you’ll have to register for a MOO account.

Enjoy creating and using your new MOO business cards.

Best wishes for much success on Zibbet!

This was great. Thanks for walking us thru all the steps. It’s nice to have a heads up with new places. I’ll be sure to check them out & get in on the free cards!

I’m an old hand with Moo cards, but I’m so pleased (and not at all surprised) to see you leading everyone through it. Thank you Vicki. It’s the first time I’ve noticed when ordering that they refer to the big pic as the “back” of the card - I’ve always considered that the front!

Just received mine today and I love them!!

I received mine yesterday and am VERY impressed by the quality! Makes the ones I had done at a local print shop look pretty tacky!

This was so easy to do. I just ordered my business cards. I can’t wait to get them.

I just placed my card order but am using them for a promotion since I already have regular business cards. Thanks so much for this opportunity!

Not letting me get the free promotion - system is wanting to charge me. What is the promo code for the free cards?
