Zibbet contains thousands of great handmade, fine art, vintage and craft supply items just waiting to be discovered and purchased. Shoppers can search for items in a variety of ways including keyword queries, browsing through the various subcategories of our four main categories, or perusing our Gift Guides. Shoppers can even conduct keyword searches within their favorite shops. Once the perfect item is found, making the purchase is easy. Just follow these steps…

1. Click one of the ‘Add to Cart’ button. There are two of them on each item detail page.

2. You’ll be taken to your Shopping Cart where you can see the item(s) there. On this page you can choose to remove the item if you’ve changed your mind. If there is more than one of the item available, you can increase your quantity if you want to purchase more than one. When you’re ready to move forward with paying for your item, click the ‘Checkout’ button.

3. Next, you need to fill in your shipping information. This page may be filled in already if you have this info saved in your account already. Please note that you’ll need to fill in your phone number. Double check your information to make sure it’s correct. This is very important as this is the shipping information that the seller will receive for shipping your purchase. Click the ‘Next’ button when you’ve completed this page.

4. On the order confirmation page, enter a coupon code if you have one and then click the ‘apply’ button. If you need to tell the seller something about your order, enter your message in the ‘Message to Seller (Optional)’ box. When you’re ready to complete your purchase, click the ‘Commit & Pay Via PayPal’ button.

5. After clicking the ‘Commit & Pay Via PayPal’ button, you’ll be taken to a PayPal login page. All purchases on Zibbet currently are processed through PayPal. Please note that a buyer doesn’t have to have a PayPal account to complete the transaction. PayPal allows debit and credit card purchases as a PayPal guest.

IMPORTANT! Zibbet never touches the funds involved in a purchase transaction. Payment transactions occur within PayPal between the buyer’s PayPal account or credit/debit card and the seller’s PayPal account. After a successful payment transaction, PayPal automatically sends notification of that payment to Zibbet where it is automatically recorded in both the buyer’s and seller’s purchase/sale records. An email is automatically sent to both the buyer and seller confirming payment. On rare occasion, PayPal fails to send that notification. When that happens, the Payment status will show as ‘Pending’ in the seller’s records and the date is missing.

Abandoned orders will also look similar to these. If you’re not sure if payment was made, whether you’re the buyer or the seller, check your PayPal account (or credit/debit card account for buyer’s without PayPal accounts). Sellers should never ship an order unless they can confirm that payment has been received!
