Promotion Quick Tip: Saving Wanelo Items
Many Zibbeters have discovered Wanelo, a new and fun place to post their own items as well as the items of others. Zibbet has recently experienced an increase in traffic that can be attributed to Wanelo activity. Similar to Pinterest, Wanelo allows you to create ‘collections’ of items that are related in some way. Although you can post an item on Wanelo without saving it to a collection, it’s even better when you do. Why? Because each ’save’ serves as a vote for the item. Thus, as ’saves’ increase so do votes for the item causing the item to move higher in placement rank for appearing on Wanelo’s homepage. As you browse Wanelo and see items you like, you can save them to your own collections. When you encounter a Zibbet item that you really like, be sure to save it. Saving the item will help bump it up Wanelo’s homepage placement list and hopefully to making a homepage appearance!
Best wishes for much success on Zibbet!

Wow ~ didn’t know that saving items on Wanelo is like voting for them! That’s awesome, to learn that’s how items appear on the homepage and in what order!! Thanks Vicki for the info ` As always you rock with the info!!
Have you looked at their TOS? Is it as problematic as Pintrest? Do they strip the META data too? Since reading several articles on Pintrest’s TOS, I’m debating closing my account. I haven’t pinned anything new. Too late for what’s there I guess.
I’ve decided to delete all pins and close my Pinterest account. My husband works for a publishing company and sees problems with Pinterest owning rights to the images posted. His company buys rights to use images in their books from image vendors, and he cautions me to distance myself from Pinterest.
What is Wanelo’s stance on image ownership?
I get inspired by you all!!!!
Thank you for another great tip! Love your articles!
